1. Eligibility Requirements

• I confirm that I meet all eligibility requirements for the Sri Lankan Avurudu Kumara & Kumariya 2025 contest.

• I confirm that I am between the ages of 18 yrs and 30 yrs on or before April 19, 2025.

• I confirm that I am a Sri Lankan citizen or of Sri Lankan descent, residing in one of the 50 State of USA.

2. Code of Conduct

• I will behave in a disciplined manner at all times throughout the competition.

• I will attend all training sessions, rehearsals, and scheduled activities for the pageant.

• I will cooperate with the event organizers, jury, staff, and chaperones.

3. Judging & Scoring

• The jury panel’s decision is final and cannot be challenged, criticized, or disputed (verbally, in writing, or on social media).

• Contestants will be scored from 1 to 10, with 10 being the highest.

• In case of a tie, the top 3 contestants will be ranked again by the judges to determine the final winner.

4. Publicity & Media Release

• I permit my photograph, video, voice recording, and name to be used without charge for publicity and commercial purposes.

• I understand that I may appear in social media, television, and other promotional material related to the event.

5. Prohibited Activities

• Consuming alcohol (if over 21) or smoke in public while representing the pageant.

• Use of illegal drugs is strictly prohibited.

6. Liability & Responsibility

• The organizers, sponsors, and jury members are not responsible for any personal injury or damages during the competition.

• If any contestant is selected as an at-large contestant, the contestant should bear the cost of the entry fee and travel expenses any other related expenses by themselves.

7. Withdrawal Policy

• I understand that after March 20, 2025, I may not withdraw from the competition unless there is a valid reason.

• With this application I am submitting a nonrefundable application fee of $100.00 + Applicable Sales Tax

.

8. Disqualification & Title Revocation

• If the winner fails to comply with rules, terms, or obligations, the organizing committee has the right to revoke the title and reassign it to the runner-up.

• In such a case, the contestant must return the crown, banner, and all prizes in the same condition received.
